The Year of the Dog was a pivotal period in my life, overloaded with emotions and brimming with extreme ups and downs. I was periodically rewarded with several GOT7 sightings and a DAY6 World Tour, yet also flung into an unknowingly toxic work environment. New friendships were made, while old ones were strengthened (or withered, for whatever reason).
Many would have assumed this roundup to consist mainly of meal snippets. And I have no reason to deny this hypothesis, for it is completely accurate.
2) The inescapable CoCo runs
Despite my initial reluctance to purchase yet another repackage, the availability of a locally-organized G.O. (as well as Jinyoung's all-too-persuasive teaser images) convinced me otherwise.
That said, this may be my last time joining a group order, for I always seem to have better bias luck with sealed orders.
5) A late lunch of mild Chipotle at Mississauga's busiest shopping centre
8) Manic's Matcha White Chocolate Chip Cookies fell short of the expectations set by their affiliated Koreatown shop.
9) Mr. Sun is worth a second, and possibly even third, visit!
11) The hoddeok inventory was finally restocked!
12) Various microfoam latte art attempts
As a bubble tea fiend based in the west side of the GTA, newcomers to the scene are never overlooked. That said, I wasn't necessarily inclined to pay this name an immediate visit. The Dundas and Hurontario intersection is quite nasty; moreover, I hadn't been made aware of the availability of a private parking lot.
For a change of pace, I arranged one of my catch-up sessions at the independent tea shop. Like many reviewers had noted, the menu was extremely varied, though utterly confusing at the same time. The girls behind the cashier were of no help either, for their English skills were feeble to the point where basic levels of communication could not be attained.
Consequently, we just pointed to the most popular pick of Hokkaido Milk Tea and the seasonal special of Thai Milk Tea.
2018 has treated me well. Wishes for the upcoming three-hundred-sixty-five days include: securing a relevant full-time occupation and continued health and safety for all.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
