Having a sudden urge for something sweet following midday class propelled me into Westdale to hunt down a gelato place I had been told about earlier last term.
Though there wasn't indication on the sign outside, Valentino's served Italian pastries (such as cannoli) and gelato in addition to traditional Italian food. I ordered a small scoop of toasted almond gelato, which in my opinion, bore almost no resemblance to the taste of toasted almonds. Overlooking the fact that it was excessively sweet for such a small scoop, the crushed almonds embedded in the scoops did add a nice crunch to it.

Not too far from Valentino's was Conspiracy Comics, whose store was surprisingly deep.
