I have never swayed from being a loyal ahgase and can only affirm this statement further with the release of my angels' newest mini album. It should come as no surprise that Jinyoung's large fraction of lines in the title track, as well as his unexpected dance break, has me stunned - a mix of heart-clenching awe and utter amazement.

Beyond the striking lead song, I identified in particular with 고마워, not purely because of the fact that it is Jinyoung's self-composed track, but because of the implications and purpose of the composition itself.
Before the discovery of GOT7, K-Pop was merely a genre of music to jam to. It was entertainment in its rawest form, and the joy achieved from engaging in such activities was a form of temporary relief from harsh reality.

GOT7 changed this mentality. Adopting the title of an IGOT7 meant more than simply listening and supporting the group's music. It's an indication of one's love and efforts towards the boys, and a promise to continually inspire and give back.
As an international fan, one cannot deny the language barrier and distance that remains between us. Some aspects of our verbal and written affection shall never reach them completely, or so I believed anyway. The release of 고마워 was a message to both domestic and international IGOT7s, notifying us that the boys could indeed feel our persistent love and support. Scarce and short-lived are the opportunities to see each other face-to-face, but the very notion of their appreciation meant tremendously to me.
It's one of the countless reasons why I continue this fangirl life with unwavering determination.
