With its extensive selection of brunch options and general lunch appetizers/mains, it took us a while before we could finally decide on what to order. Our server, a cheerful girl named Pat, had already came by our table twice before, but remained completely patient with us until we were ready on her third visit.
The heart-shaped chicken breast was coated with toasted coconut flakes, giving it a nice, crispy exterior, while the inside was as tender as could be!
Chicken is very difficult to prepare; most restaurants tend to overcook the meat, causing it to be come hard and tough, and sadly, that's also what I have been accustomed to. Naturally, I was in complete awe when I was able to cut into the meat with essentially no effort at all. The tangy banana sauce that accompanied it was the perfect complement, bringing visual interest to the dish and heightening the dining experience by pairing unexpected flavours together.
A cappuccino was ordered to conclude the brunch. I normally would've requested a dessert as well, but the Banana Coconut Crusted Chicken had been so delectable that the thought of saving room for dessert completely flew over my head. (Oh well, there's always next time!)
