The morning commute, as you may have guessed, was a rather unpleasant experience. I had managed to make the last standing spot on the bus, meaning that I had needed to stand for approximately 35 minutes until we would arrive. Originally, it wouldn't have been bad at all. However, almost each seated passenger had an extra duffel bag with them, and most of them poked into the aisle. With no space to properly position myself and nothing to hold onto, the frequent brakes initiated by the driver in compliance with the stop-go traffic conditions jolted me back and forth quite a substantial amount each time.
Upon finally making it to school, I was welcomed by none other than more whiteout-like weather.
More of this week's visuals include spotting Valentine's Day candy and plushies at Target (which is shockingly empty these days), creating my own ice cream waffle cup topped with multicolour sprinkles my mom usually uses for sugar cookies, receiving weirded out stares by snapping a photo of mini chocolate croissants at a student bake sale, investing in a five-pack of heavily sweetened Korean mini yogurt bottles, and consuming a very much needed Mocha Frappuccino after a long day. (They ran out of chocolate curls that evening though. I was slightly disappointed.)
I haven't actually had a chance to dine in yet, but their take-out drinks, while pricey, have been quite promising. Both of the drinks I ordered this time were shaken to the perfect consistency, and just the right combination of tea, milk and sweetener. I especially enjoyed the noticeable taste of the brown sugar.
The atmosphere is quite cozy, and the dishes are visually appealing as well. Perhaps I'll make it a mission next time! =D
