Compared to our last visit, the environment was definitely more hectic. Noise levels were significantly greater, and the food quality had been sacrificed as a result of the increase in volume of customers.
The Crab & Endive Salad was a mound of heavily salted stringy crab meat, with a side of fruit gelee that didn't taste too fruity and contained a tad too much gelatin. The "drizzle" of truffle oil on the Vegetable Ravioli was more like a pool of grease; the ravioli wasn't even ravioli either - the flat circular pieces of pasta contained no filling and were simply laid at the bottom of the oil-covered dish. The Mahi Mahi wasn't bad, though it suffered from the same greasy circumstances.
Finishing off with the Apple Crisp had undoubtedly been a good decision: while the dessert was still too sweet for our tastes, it proved to be a nice way to cut through the excess saltiness of the entrees we had already consumed.
