After conducting a quick search on the restaurants within close proximity of my physio place (also read as: reading numerous reviews on), it was decided that we would try out New City Restaurant for lunch.
Many yelp users had had mixed feelings about the atmosphere and food, but two common points present in their reviews were that the servers were always friendly and that meals were considerably budget-friendly.
I personally found the food to be quite satisfactory for the price being paid, but would have to reconsider visiting the restaurant again if given an alternative.
New City serves up a typical Hong Kong-style Cha Chan Teng menu, with choices of set combos that include a Minestrone or Cream soup to start, some type of entree with rice or spaghetti, and a drink (usually milk tea or lemon tea).
We ordered two combos:
- Mixed Sauce Chicken Rice with Lemon Tea
- Spaghetti with Chicken in Honey Mustard Sauce

For those of you anticipating my vacation photos from Taiwan and Macau, I'm sorry to say that you'll have to wait a bit longer! I'm currently in the middle of organizing a couple DIY projects for some upcoming cosplays I'm tackling and it's taking me longer than I anticipated (^ ^;).
