Out & About #261 | Collective August Visuals

8/30/2016

Ah, August - the last month of summer and final few weeks of freedom before school.

As derived from my Vancouver Voyage posts, my time was primarily spent away on the West Coast. That being said, I haven't accumulated nearly as many visuals as my regular posts, and most have been included in their respectful entries.

Here are some randoms I snapped while commuting and working through backlog!

1) The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Mascots make a well-deserved appearance in the parking lot of SUPER BORED

2) Guava Cadabra + Cookie for mid-morning snack
3) Klondike cone to assist with editing blues, courtesy of my beloved gma
4) One of the many stunning sunsets witnessed over the course of my vacation

5) FukuRoku
Sushi takeout can be bland, but FukuRoku skillfully distinguished itself from the rest with fresh sashimi, crisp takoyaki, and intensely marinated unagi donburi. The entire meal totalled approximately twenty five dollars, making it as affordable as it was palatable.

6) Green Tea Latte to soothe jet-lagged nerves
7) Korean cold noodles (aka nengmyeon) for lunch
8) Running along Fraser River yielded some amazing shots of the airport terminal situated on the other side

9) Outtakes from my solo downtown adventure, including the a shot of homemade milk tea and Lost Lagoon.

10) More sunsets!
11) Chatime
At some point during the trip, we made a quick Chatime run for Thai Coffee Milk Tea and Sakura Sencha Tea, which was supposed to be Teair until the cashier incorrectly punched in my order.

12) Brazilian Thunder from Booster Juice
13) My recent obsession with sticker tattoos has been growing since acquiring the stash from Crystal Mall.

14) ROYCE Chocolate
Bitter Nama Chocolate from ROYCE Chocolate was finally obtained from Richmond Centre! The box of twenty was admittedly pricey, though the packaging was absolutely flawless. The product itself possessed a plastic cover along with a monogrammed seal. Requesting for gift wrapping had also bequeathed me with an insulated cooling bag, ice pack, golden sticker, and silky red gift bag.

Undeniably fragrant with hints of brandy, the Japanese cocoa powder-dusted squares quickly became a favourite in our household.

And that's a wrap!
