The last stop of the day was the renowned Tea Shop 168! For the past two weeks, I've been constantly reminded by Ezza that this place was a must-go-to, and I have to say that I'm glad I went.
The last stop of the day was the renowned Tea Shop 168! For the past two weeks, I've been constantly reminded by Ezza that this place was a must-go-to, and I have to say that I'm glad I went.
In contrast to the other popular hangout locations on King St., Tea Shop 168's interior design was simple, sleek, and moden, featuring a green and white colour scheme with a few large rings (reminiscent of tapioca pearls) hung about the sitting area.
We ordered a yogurt slushie, tiramisu, manga milk tea, and okonomiyaki (which they accidentally placed into a takeout container for us - whoops!) and spent a good hour and a half chatting away with various Asian pop tunes and a k-drama playing in the background.
Given the board games lined up along the wall, it seemed to be a pretty good opportunity to allow Ezza to become more acquainted with mahjong tiles (XD). Check out the vlog below to see how she does!

It was, overall, an amazing day and 168 has most definitely earned a spot in my list of awesome hangout locations - the food is great, the prices are reasonable, the servers are extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic!
