And though I'm not one to get easily excited over things unrelated to B.A.P (*ahem* MYULTIMATEBIAS/OT6!), I instantly fell in love with the Chinese version of the song. So much that I had to sync it to my phone immediately. (Yep, the vocals were THAT stunning ^ ^).
I've always thought that SM composers gave the Chinese versions of EXO's songs much less thought than their Korean counterparts in order to allow the lyrics of the latter flow better with melody.
Even though many EXOTICS (or are they 'Extrovers' now?) may be in denial, one must admit that the group's previous hit songs ('MAMA', 'HISTORY') make little sense when he or she bothers to go through the lyrical composition. And let's be honest, 'WOLF' made even less sense =P
But I really enjoyed reading "Miracles in December" (the Chinese version at least). It actually made sense! And though I feel that lyrics could have been employed in a more implicit method, it was acceptable enough after hearing the unique lines of earlier released tunes. Heck, it was actually touching =')
Not intentionally contrasting with my previous statement, I do feel that the words could be improved though. And to prove this, I have created this comparison "table":
