My youngest cousin's birthday actually happens to fall on Christmas Eve. So during the afternoon, we celebrated at a location that offered virtual golf and access to a newly-renovated gym and pool, followed by an amazing ice cream cake.
As most of our family was only able to gather on Christmas Eve, it was decided that we would have our Christmas dinner buffet that night at The Fairmont Hotel at the Vancouver Airport.
The buffet was a truly indulgent meal with even more decadent desserts, and a fragrant cup of Earl Grey was just the perfect way to end the night.
And after the meal, taking numerous Christmas photos in front of the ginormous tree clad with ornate decorations was an event not to be overlooked. (The photography-crazy family we are, I think we spent about a total of 45 minutes just arranging ourselves for individual family photos until we actually took one large group shot.)
I also noticed this uncanny resemblance between my outfit choice of the night and the elaborate, lofty Christmas tree we chose to take photos with. XD

As it's still before 12 AM here in BC, I want to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
And what did I do today? Well, while every other normal family (excluding those without power and heat in Toronto, which I wish all the best in recovering their electricity as soon as possible) celebrates with a turkey dinner in the warmth of their own home, we spent the day helping my grandparents pack (they're moving in a few days) and finished the day with hotpot at an insanely freezing hotpot restaurant.

YEP. That was my Christmas.
There was a lack of snow and a lack of spirit in the city, but I enjoyed it nonetheless and will continue donning my Santa hat until the clock strikes 12.
